Services

What can change when someone has more to look forward to?

Every visit begins with the person’s interests, routines, abilities, and idea of a good day.

Flexible by design

Companionship that has a purpose.

These are examples, not a menu of isolated tasks. The relationship is the service.

Connection and shared interests

Conversation, favorite hobbies, music, games, familiar places, celebrations, and companionship that feels natural rather than scheduled.

Movement and time outside

Walks, chair stretching, putting practice, and simple ways to bring more movement and enjoyment into the week.

Brain-engaging activities

Puzzles, conversation, new experiences, creative projects, and activities that invite curiosity and participation.

Technology confidence

Patient help with phones, tablets, video calls, streaming, device setup, and staying connected to family.

Everyday projects, together

Mindful grocery shopping, organization, gardening, planning, and practical projects that are better with company.

Outings and community connection

Breakfast at a favorite spot, neighborhood activities, errands done together, and more reasons to get out into the world.

Important boundary

Companionship is not medical or hands-on care.

My Modern Companion does not provide nursing, medication management, personal care, emergency care, clinical supervision, or continuous monitoring.

Made around the person

There is no “typical” visit.

One person may want to explore a new coffee shop. Another may want help learning an iPhone feature, walking more consistently, or simply having someone present for a meaningful conversation.
